Critter Village is a quaint little mountain area inhabited by talking animals, talking hills, and talking buildings. It's one of the safest places in the world... and yet, young go-getter Riley Raccoon has declared himself the town's defender.   When he's not patrolling the village and "thwarting" innocuous things with his friends, a cranky owl named Hoodie, and Thugly, a poor excuse for a juvenile delinquent, he's out bothering the local authority figures, especially his stick-in-the-mud teacher, Miss Monkey.
